The correct order when setting up a new user in Office 365 Hybrid environment

This is a personal reminder of the correct order to setup a new user in local Active Directory with email on Office365. This way they don’t end up with weird Office 365 generated email addresses and everything plays nice.

1. Create new user in local AD
2. Create user mailbox on local exchange server
3. Run Start-OnlineCoexistenceSync
4. Assign license user on Office365
5. Migrate mailbox from local exchange to Office365
