What user has this email?!
Ever get stuck trying to figure out what exchange mailbox a specific address goes to? Like you add a new user “Joy” and they end up with the email [email protected] because somewhere somebody added the joy@ email address to another mailbox?
Well, anyway, it’s easy to find what mailbox that goes to from the exchange shell. Just run:
Get-Recipient the_email_address
Super-easy. Nice to have the right tool for the job.
PS – It also works for distribution groups, the result will tell you what group has the address.
